"I knew Arjun was on board. but I never thought I will be part of the film. I got a call for a look test and the point being that I should look good with Arjun. I was hoping it comes to me and it did. It's a big achievement for me," she said. The actress, who garnered rave reviews for her performance in her last release Highway, says there was a reason behind doing 2 States. "After Highway I wanted people to say I am an actor and that I am not here to be a star. I would not like to be five or six films old .so I want to make sure I am an actor," she said.
