The film will mark the return of director Mohit Suri after the success of Aashiqui 2 last year. Ek Villain has been produced by Ekta Kapoor under the banner of her production house Balaji Motion Pictures. "The teaser of Ek Villain has already crossed 1 million online views. Keep the love going," tweeted Tanug Garg, CEO, Balaji Motion Pictures.
Besides Sidharth and Shraddha, the film also stars Riteish Deshmukh, who will be seen in a negative role. Ek Villain is slated to release on June 27.
